B.S., C.S.C.S., M.A.T. Specialist

Coach Dani is from Aurora, Colorado and alumni at Overland High School. Her sports background is lacrosse and volleyball as she played competitively through her youth and through high school. Unfortunately, due to injuries, her career took a halt, but she continued her education at Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She then moved to California to continue her studies in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton.

In California, Coach Dani has worked with numerous athletes from ages 8-18 at ProSport Sports Performance where she interned and then worked. During this time, she also worked with club level volleyball athletes at Mizuno Long Beach Volleyball Club for three years. In the past few years, Coach Dani has worked with NFL draft prospects to youth hockey players, and enjoys the variety of all sports and ages!

Coach Dani is a conference enthusiast and actively participates in the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) where she received her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS). Coach Dani completed the Muscle Activation Techniques program, an application that assesses, improves, and maintains human muscular control; where she will receive her MAT certification. Coach Dani believes in training an athlete for the longevity of their sport. Her approach to training teaches an athlete healthy positioning and patterning. Her goal is to teach these proper and efficient movement patterns, in hopes that an athlete will transfer those patterns to his/her sport. She likes to paint the picture for her athletes, so they make sense of the “why” behind the “what”.
