Eric Telly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance & Sport in August 2010. He completed his internship in sports performance under the direct tutelage of Sports Performance Director, Loren Landow. Eric holds two certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). As a Sports Performance Coach, Eric designs and implements programs for a variety of athletes/clients. His athletes include, but are not limited to: Professional and Amateur Mixed Martial Artists, high school and club sports: Swimming, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Track, and Soccer. Eric’s clientele also includes general and special population’s clients. He has assisted and filled in for Sports Performance Coach/Director Loren Landow. It has been in this capacity that Eric has worked with Olympic level swimmers, NFL athletes from the Denver Broncos during the NFL Lockout as well as players from the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Texas Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, various free agents and Collegiate Football players preparing for their NFL Combine/Pro Day; athletes from the UFC, NHL, USTA, and MLB.
Eric’s continuing education interest includes certifications from Tom Purvis’ Resistance Training Specialist and Greg Roskopf’s Muscle Activation Techniques. Prior to pursuing his degree, Eric served 5 years on active duty and another year and a half as a reservist in the US Navy. During that time one of Eric’s collateral duties was Command Fitness Leader. This included coordinating, implementing, and recording physical readiness programs and tests for both Enlisted and Officer personnel.
