Jacob received a Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) in Health and Exercise Science from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
(CSCS) and as a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Sciences Association. He is also CPR and AED certified. Jacob interned with Landow Performance in the summer of 2018 while earning his degree. He played soccer and football in high school and was an NCAA student-athlete in soccer for Regis University. Jacob completed an internship with the Regis Strength and Conditioning Department working with all 12 NCAA sports programs and coordinated the faculty/staff Health and Wellness program. Jacob also served as the lead personal trainer for the physical therapy, pharmacy, nursing, and computer science departments.
One of Jacob’s strengths as a Sports Performance Coach is his awareness of proactive and reactive approaches to injuries in sports. He is passionate about returning athletes to play at a competitive level after a severe injury. He has worked with football, basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, golf, volleyball, swimming, UFC/MMA, and boxing athletes. He is dedicated to the Landow Performance philosophy of maximizing human performance and decreasing potential injury risk. As a sports performance coach, Jacob’s priority is to apply long term athletic development progressions to make the athlete resilient to the demands of their sport.
