Coach Joe Jaramillo graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in 2010 and continued to further his education at Colorado State University with his Bachelors of Health and Exercise Science Degree graduating in the spring of 2014. Coach Joe has been a part of the Landow Performance team since the summer of 2014 upon being hired after his 600-hour summer internship under owner Loren Landow.
Currently Coach Joe works with individuals and teams of all ages, sports, and skill levels ranging from youth, middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes. Having over 12 years of baseball experience being a catcher and 3rd baseman, Coach Joe works with baseball athletes of all skill levels.
The spring of 2021 will mark the end of Coach Joe’s seventh year working with the Colorado Thunderbirds hockey organization. He has had the privilege of coaching the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16N, and 18U teams and has had the opportunity of working with hockey players currently in the NHL, NCAA Division 1, USHL, WHL, NAHL, BCHL, and AJHL junior hockey levels.
Coach Joe has had the privilege to work with several division-1 athletes in hockey, baseball, racquetball, softball, and football. Joe’s training philosophy is focused on preparing athletes for their sport with an emphasis on injury prevention and proper form when teaching strength training, linear speed, and change of direction movement to assist in maximizing athletic capabilities while reducing likelihood of potential injury. Coach Joe also uses MAT (Muscle Activation Techniques) to assist his clientele in achieving more mobility while maintaining strength and stability in their respective sport.
Coach Joe’s continuing education credentials include nationally accredited certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, United States Weightlifting association, and is Greg Roskopf’s Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist certified.
