Megan is a Colorado native and a 2018 graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Metropolitan State University. Prior to her graduation she completed a full internship at Landow Performance in the fall of 2017.
She continued to train as a competitive karate athlete with Landow Coach Augie Aygei and was brought on board to the Landow Performance team in the summer of 2019. With her background in martial arts, she is also a part of the MMA coaching staff.
Megan has a long history of working with children of all ages, skills and sports. The goal for her coaching kids to focus on the basic and most important fundamentals while making sessions fun where kids can learn to improve their skills and compete. She also works with a wide range of general fitness clients for weight loss and strength. With every client being unique, her program design that she creates is specific to each individual and educating them on the process.
Megan has a background in traditional Shotokan karate and has been practicing in Denver since she was 7 years old under Gary Tsutsui. She is a 3rd degree black belt and a previous Junior and Senior National US Team member from 2003-2017. She still teaches and trains to compete on an elite level internationally. Megan loves being surround by her colleagues and is constantly learning from them just as much as her studies.
