Fundamentals to Mastery. Using a precisely developed progression of movement and weightlifting, Travis works with his clients to develop and master the skills needed to
improve an individual’s bio-motors abilities: speed, agility, power, strength, conditioning, and mobility.
Travis enjoys coaching all athletes—from those in their early athletic development, to those who have achieved elite level, and every athlete in between. Travis focuses on the long-term athletic development for all of his clients, in order to ensure their progression and improvement. He is passionate about getting to know athletes of all abilities, and helping them to achieve their individual goals and highest athletic potential. He strives to be a role model for his younger athletes while meticulously developing fundamentals of movement and strength, to effectively prepare them for the next level and beyond. In this role, he skillfully manages the group dynamic while paying particular attention to each athlete’s unique needs.
Travis works with numerous elite athletes to master weightlifting and movement skills by utilizing Loren Landow’s micro-progression training techniques, helping them to become more powerful and robust in their given field. Travis also compassionately assists weekend warriors working through injuries, building strength and endurance, and gaining confidence.
Travis was voted “Coach of the Year” in 2020 by his peers at Landow Performance. As a student of the profession, Travis pushes himself to build upon and improve his skills every day. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. Travis is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) specialist and participates in several NSCA presentations annually.
Travis grew up in Montrose, Colorado as an individual and team sport athlete competing as a skateboarder, snowboarder, 100m and 200m sprinter, and a football and hockey player.
Growing up in the country on the Western slope gave Travis a deep appreciation for the outdoors, where he enjoys boating, camping, fishing, and hunting. Travis spends his free time with his fiancé, Danielle, and their two dogs, Zeke and Herbie.
